A write-up on this site is a compilation. Here is exactly what is in it.
- The manufacturer’s specification. Copied from the product listing, reorganised so the same field sits in the same place on every page.
- The listed price. Read from the Amazon listing at the time the page was built or last refreshed.
- The buyer rating. The average score Amazon shoppers have left, out of five. 2,276 of the 2,293 products on file have one.
- The product photograph from the listing, where the listing has one — 2,275 of 2,293 do.
Reading the rating
We do not score products. The number shown is the buyer average from the Amazon listing, reproduced as it stands. Read it as a crowd’s verdict, with all the usual caveats about crowds.
What we did not do
We have not tested any of these products. No unit has been ordered, unboxed, measured or lived with. Anything that only reveals itself in use — how loud it is, how it holds up, whether the app is any good — is outside what this site can tell you.
How the shortlist is made
Selection follows what people actually shop for, not what anyone pays us. Nobody can buy a slot on a page here, and no brand has ever asked and been told yes.
About the prices
The price on a page was true when it was read and may not be true now. Amazon changes prices often, sometimes several times a day. Treat every figure here as a marker, and take the price on Amazon as the real one.
Getting something corrected
If a specification is wrong, a product has been discontinued or a page implies something we have not earned the right to say, tell us on the contact page. Corrections are made to the page itself, not in a footnote.
